Baseball, known as America's pastime has captivated kids for the past decades. Don't worry if your kid has never played, as most kids here haven't so your child is not at a disadvantage.  A lot of kids have only picked up a bat in the last couple of years, and every year we add more new kids to the program.

RECREATIONAL LEVELS

K-BALL (Pre-K & K) Cost: $100.00 per Player

ROOKIES (1st & 2nd Grade) Cost: $110.00 per Player

20% Family Discount for Registering 2 or more Players. Payment Plan is also available. 

K-Ball & Rookies are recreational levels. Practices will start at the beginning April. Practice locations and times will be based on how many Teams and Fields we currently have. Games will start the first week of May and go through the week of June 3rd.. With an end of the Season Round Robin the weekend of June 8th & 9th (ROOKIES ONLY). Practices and Games will all be played locally. Associations in these leagues consist of Spartan, Liberty and Westview.  Coaches will focus on Baseball Fundamentals and of course HAVING FUN!! There are NO Tryouts for these levels. We try and and form Teams based on where the Players attend School. Requests to play with other players, must be emailed to Spartan Youth Baseball as soon as possible. 

K-Ball Game Days: Monday's & Wednesday's

Rookie Game Days: Tuesday's and Thursday's

JBO COMPETITIVE DIVISIONS

MINORS (3rd & 4th Grade) Cost: $290 per Player

JUNIORS (5th & 6th Grade) Cost: $315 per Player

SENIORS (7th & 8th Grade) Cost: $340 per Player

20% Family Discount for Registering 2 or more Players. Payment Plan is also available. 

Each Division could consist of three levels of play based on the number of Players Registered:

-National (Developmental)

-American (Above Average)

-Federal (Advanced)

Tryouts are indeed Tryouts. Tryouts are held for all JBO Divisions. Tryouts/Evaluations are conducted by our High School Coaching Staff. Based on the Players evaluation scores, will determine what level of JBO Baseball they will participate in. 

JBO Tryouts are held on the last weekend of February. Practices will start in March and the season will run from April through July.  Each JBO Team will play in at least 1 Weekend Tournament during the Season. 

FALL BASEBALL

Fall Baseball is only offered for Minors, Juniors and Seniors.

-MINORS (Incoming 3rd & 4th Graders)

-JUNIORS (Incoming 5th & 6th Graders)

-SENIORS (Incoming 7th, 8th & 9th Graders)

Cost per Player varies each Fall. Player Registration Cost are based on Team Fee's from the League. No payments plans for Fall Ball. Pay in full is the only option.

Fall Baseball is great for Players moving up a level to get used to rules and bigger fields. Example would be, if your player is going into 3rd grade in the upcoming Fall, they would play Minors. This would allow your player(s) to get prepared for competitive Baseball in the Spring. Players going to be Freshman in the Fall are allowed to play one last season of Youth Baseball. 

-Season runs from August to October. Registration typically opens at the end of June/beginning of July and closes the beginning of August.

-Games are only on Sunday's

-Games are Played in the Hillsboro area

Minors- Groner and Ladd Acres Elementary

Juniors- Groner and Ladd Acres Elementary

Seniors- Hare Field and Brown Junior High School

-Practices are two times a week between Groner & Hare Field for Minors and Juniors. Hare Field for Seniors. Practices are also optional due to players playing other Fall Sports. Games however are not optional.

-There are NO TRYOUTS for Fall Ball. Teams are built mostly based on what level Players played the previous Spring. 

WINTER CLINICS AT HARE FIELD

Winter Clinics are only on Sunday's and typically run from the beginning of November to the end of January. We have 4-1 hour groups. Pre-K through 2nd Grade, Minors, Juniors and Seniors. Winter Clinics cost $5.00 per Player.  This is a Fundraiser for the Program we do every year!! Communication starts coming out in October.
